Working for London Fashion Week - AW10

So here we go. My name is Georgios Mavridis and I am a postgraduate student at the University of Westminster, studying Public Relations, with a big passion for fashion.

A few weeks ago we had a guest speaker in our Fashion PR class, John Walford from Vauxhall Fashion Scout. He spoke about the fashion industry in the UK and internationally, and shared plenty of useful tips and advice.

At the end of the class, he mentioned that there were internship opportunities for London Fashion Week AW10 and invited anyone interested to apply. So I did.

Next thing I knew, I received an email saying I was in. I was thrilled. I had previously worked for a fashion PR agency and a fashion magazine, but I had never had the chance to work at London Fashion Week. The biggest event in fashion.

I honestly did not know what to expect.

Today, on the last day of Fashion Week AW10, I decided to start this blog so I can share my experience day by day.
