Rabeanco Going British

Rabeanco Going British....

LUXURY handbag label Rabeanco has launched in the UK for the first time, with a new flagship store in Covent Garden.

"We were not actively seeking to open a London store at this time, it just seemed to make sense to do it and everything else has fallen into place," said the label's director Andrew Ng. "Having our own shop in the UK allows us to offer the full comprehensive collection of all ranges and use our knowledge of the products to sell directly to customers. We'd like to open more retail outlets in Europe as the brand grows."

With women such as Carine Roitfeld, Lara Stone and Abbey Lee Kershaw as muses, the brand is known for its understated, functional elegance - each made using high quality Italian leather.

"We know woman are sensitive to shape, quality, texture, and the ultimate touch-and-feel, so we never compromise with our leather quality, which is why we pay the utmost effort to source the finest leather from Italy," explained Ng.

Highlights from the autumn/winter 2011-12 collection include satchels in bright blues, coral and brown, shoulder bags with chain trim detailing and slouchy duffle styles.

"A bright and rich colour palette has been the inspiration for our new collection," said Ng. "Each bag was designed to make a difference, with greys and karkis to luxe shades in green, chestnut, camel."
