THE Denver
Art Museum, Colorado, is set to play host to new exhibition - Yves Saint
Laurent: The Retrospective - this March. The exhibit will display work spanning the
deisgner's life, from his first days with Dior in 1958 up until his final catwalk collection in 2002.

Two hundred haute couture designs - some of which were worn by stars including Princess Grace of Monaco, Catherine Deneuve and Paloma Picasso - will be exhibited, accompanied by photographs, drawings and films. Particular emphasis will be placed upon Saint Laurent's introduction of traditional men's attire - such as the tuxedo and trouser suit: Le Smoking - to haute couture, which subsequently impacted on the modern woman's wardrobe.
The exhibition will be on show at the museum from March 25 to July 8 2012. Tickets go on sale to the general public on 20 January 2012.
