SPFW Highlights
WHILE the menswear shows turned into couture, Sao
Paulo Fashion Week was taking place across the other side of the world. Here,
renowned fashion journalist Gianluca Longo reports for VOGUE.COM.
"It was a busy Fashion Week in Sao
Paulothis season. Most designers showed in the modernist building of
the Art Biennale (another marvellous example of Oscar
Niemeyer's designs), and a few had great locations that made my trip there
even more interesting - the most exciting of all was the railway station Da Luz
for the Cavalera show, in the colonial part of Sao Paulo. Here are my
highlights from the shows."
